Before a DIN 2303 or supplier audit, cross-check your own records yourself before the accredited body or the customer does.
- Certificates and credentials are valid, and grace periods are being tracked.
- Personnel records are current: welding supervisor with deputy, inspectors and NDT personnel.
- Training for interface roles is demonstrable, with content recorded.
- The matrix of welding procedure specifications and procedure qualification records is current and mapped to production situations.
- Calibration records for test equipment are complete.
- A self-check against the relevant question catalogues has been carried out.
- A traceability sample has been pulled independently: from batch through certificate to component and report.
- Room, schedule and point of contact for audit day are fixed.
